Icarus Games Wins UK Enterprise Award

Greetings gamers, I am incredibly honored to share some big news with you today! 

Icarus Games has been named as the UK's Accessible Tabletop Games Publisher of 2025 by the UK Enterprise Awards. 

The UK Enterprise Awards is a program by SME News to celebrate the "innovation, resilience, and excellence of Great British businesses".

I am incredibly honored (and still a little shocked) to accept this award. When I first started putting together tools to make my own prep easier I was just a tired GM trying to make things a little more manageable for myself and I never thought that road would eventually lead to winning any kind of award! 

But this award isn’t really about me. It’s about a bigger idea:

Tabletop games should be fun, not overwhelming - and they should be for everyone.

To me, this award isn't an end point or a sign of the work being finished. instead, it's a promise to always be trying to do better when it comes to accessibility, always trying to make products that are more user friendly, and always trying to make tabletop gaming more accessible. 

I know that I wouldn't have won this award without you and your support. Whether you've downloaded one of my free resources, watched my videos, or supported me on patreon or kickstarter, thank you! Every bit of support and encouragement has helped me to keep going with the goal of making tabletop gaming more accessible and fun. 

There's loads more to come in 2025 and beyond, and I can't wait to share what I have planned with you, so keep your eyes peeled for even more exciting stuff from Icarus Games.
