Shipping policy
Delivery
Delivery is charged based on the weight of the order. We continually review postage charges and alternative carriers to offer you the most competitive rate available. We aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours of receiving them but dispatch dates may vary depending on stock availability and public holidays. All deliveries will not require a signature unless specified at point of order.
Please note delivery dates cannot always be guaranteed and maybe subject to circumstances out of the control of Icarus Games. Icarus Games does not accept claims for loss due to late delivery. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure someone is present at the time of delivery to receive the goods.
Customs Fees
Please note that you may be liable to pay customs charges on your order depending on your country of residence. Please check with your customs office to see what fees might apply. Since 1 July 2021, most goods sent to the EU from the UK (including gifts) are now subject to VAT and potentially a clearance fee. The taxes and duties applied depend on the individual rules of the receiving country, and you should check your local customs rules to find out what duties you will be likely to pay.
All orders are sent with full customs paperwork as required by UK law and our carrier, the Royal Mail, and will include the full sale cost of physical goods. Print products use the tariff code 490199 (0000) which you can use to find out how much the duties and charges may be in your country. Or you can find a simple calculator for import duties here.
Shortages or Damages
Goods must be inspected on delivery and all claims or shortages must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of delivery in order for any rectifications to be made.
Returns
Where goods have been ordered in error or are not received as expected, Icarus Games may agree to their return and a refund minus postage and packaging on the following conditions:
• Returns authorisation must be requested within 48 hours of receipt of goods. The reference number received with this authorisation must then be quoted on any accompanying documentation in relation to the returned goods.
• Goods must then be returned within 7 days from receipt of authorisation.
• Goods must be returned unused; in perfect, saleable condition, and in their original packaging.
• It is the responsibility of the buyer to arrange for the return carriage and to ensure that the goods are adequately packaged so as to avoid damage in transit. Icarus Games accepts no responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit to us. We strongly recommend that proof of purchase or despatch is acquired by the buyer prior to return.
For any goods returned as faulty, goods will be inspected before any refunds or replacements will be made. This does not affect your statutory rights.
