What's Inside

This issue of SIDEQUEST includes:

  • The Ashk Gazetteer: A new ongoing desert-themed campaign setting. In Ashk, the towns and city-states are safe, but the Sea of Sand is a vast, hostile, wilderness.
  • The Ranger of the Wild: A complete rebuild of the ranger class to be martially focused. Full level 1-20 rules and 3 subclasses.
  • Campaign Check In: Advice on how to stop the slow death of your campaign and make sure you and your friends keep playing week after week, year after year.
  • The Sleeper of Uqorah: A new CR 11 Aberration with art and VTT token.

All the mechanical content in this issue is compatible with the 2014 version of Dungeons and Dragons Fifth Edition.

Download includes a 26-page bookmarked PDF and token and map files for use in VTT play.

What People Are Saying

SIDEQUEST Issue 1 is a DrivethruRPG Silver Best-Seller.

I've used content from Sidequest in my own world to save me creating monsters and inspire me with quests and other things, which has been especially useful as a newbie!

This is a fantastic start to what will hopefully be a long-running series! I'm a particular fan of the Ranger Concoctions that are detailed in this issue. They really add a "Witcher" sort of feel, which I think is sorely missing from the base Ranger class. Icarus Games has really hit it out of the park with this one!

This is a great read, and what a start for the first issue of a monthly magazine! The art and layout are really pleasing to the eye, and it's filled with interesting articles. The highlight for me was the rebuild of the Ranger Class, I'll definetly use this in my games!
